GREEN AND ENERGY EFFICIENT APPRAISAL
Increasing number of homeowners nowadays are opting for energy-saving solutions for their homes and going through the trouble and efforts to ensure that their homes are efficient or "green". Consequently, they would like to get credit for adding value to their property. However, when their property gets appraised, there is no way of incorporating all these factors completely into the value of their homes. Recently, however the Appraisal Institute introduced an optional addendum form that should help some homes get credit for being green.
Sandra Adomatis, an appraiser in Punta Gorda, Fla., helped the trade group compile this form. In the earlier forms, the appraiser would either not describe the features at all or would have to provide written description of all the "green" features incorporated in the home.
"The green property needs an appraiser that has the knowledge of the product to provide a credible result", says Adomatis. PahRoo is proud to provide these specialized services to its clients. To learn more about Adomatis Appraisal Service, visit their website.
Our appraisers are well informed with this new form and up-to-date with the developments in the Appraisal business. We at PahRoo will help in providing the best possible appraisal for your "green" and "efficient" home.

You can now download the new form here and present it to us while ordering the appraisal so that we are aware of all the energy-saving features of your property.
